Melissa Virnig: General Manager
Melissa Virnig has been part of the Salt Shack family since May of 2023. Her passion for the restaurant industry is fueled by the dynamic team, the lively energy, and the diverse people she encounters daily working at Salt Shack. Her favorite Salt Shack order is either shrimp tacos or the fresh fish bites – she loves both!
A fun fact about Melissa is that she used to be a member of the Varsity diving team in high school. Melissa serves as General Manager at Salt Shack on the Lake, and we’re so grateful to have her.
Angelique Ulmer: Assistant General Manager
With over three years of experience on the Salt Shack team, Angelique Ulmer is the Assistant General Manager and is a key figure in ensuring the smooth operation of Salt Shack on the Lake as one of the best restaurants in Clermont. Her go-to order from the Salt Shack menu is the Bacon Cheeseburger with french fries, and a side of ranch, of course!
Her favorite part of working at Salt Shack is all of the genuine connections she’s made with people over the years. When you come to Salt Shack, you’re part of the family.
Angelique also comes from an athletic background. She played Division 2 college soccer, and her dedication and drive truly shine through at Salt Shack on the Lake.
Kayla Binder: Manager
A Clermont local, Kayla Binder serves as our Manager, helping to maintain high standards, run daily operations, and support the opening of our new restaurant in Clermont. In just two months, she already feels like part of the Salt Shack family. Kayla’s go-to order is the jerk chicken tacos with yuca fries and a side of ranch.
When asked what her favorite part of working at Salt Shack on the Lake is, she answered, “The quality and expectations are always at 100%. The moment you walk onto the property you see and feel the care and warmth of the company.”
A fun fact about Kayla is that she and her family love sports. They love to race dirt bikes, and you can often find them spending time on the chain of lakes.
